How to arrive on the Island of Hvar and Bogomolje?

VARIATION 1: (we do recommend this) by taking the ferry-boat direction Drvenik - Sućuraj

Automobilom: Graz (Austria) – Maribor (Slovenia) – Zagreb (Croatia) – Karlovac – Plitvice – Gračac – Knin – Drniš – Split - Makarska - Drvenik. In Drvenik You should board on ferry-boat for the place Sućuraj on the Hvar, and than continue driving the road for Bogomolje (it takes about 30 minutes).

Ride by ferry-boat lasts about 30 minutes, the ticket prices are 1,90 DEM per person and 14 DEM for vehicle.

VARIATION 2: a ferry-boat, direction Split - Stari Grad on the Hvar

By a car:Graz (Austria) – Maribor (Slovenia) – Zagreb (Croatia) – Karlovac – Plitvice – Gračac – Knin – Drniš – Split.
In Split You should board on the ferry-boat for Stari Grad on the Hvar.
When You arrive, continue driving the road for the place Bogomolje (1 hour).

THE OTHER POSSIBILITIES

You can also get to the Island Hvar directly from Rijeka by ferry Rijeka - Stari Grad. In the season it goes one time a day.
There is a ferry from Ancona (Italy) which goes one time a week in the season.

By plane: the airport is about 20 km from Split, and from Split You can continue with the ferry-boat Split - Stari Grad. Top of page
